＜夜叉ヶ池 蓋物＞ 彦十蒔絵作
２０２３年・・・・彦十蒔絵の主宰・若宮隆志は漆芸の仕事を始めてから40年、彦十蒔絵の名で東京に出てきて20年の節目の年となりました。
最初は職人二人と若宮隆志だけで「彦十蒔絵」という名前で漆芸作品を制作し東京のデパートへ出品、店頭で説明販売をしていました、20年経った今は約20人の職人集団になり、日本各地、海外へ作品と漆文化をご紹介させていただくことになりました。
2023・・・It has been 40 years since Takashi Wakamiya the leader of Hikoju Makie started working in lacquerware, and 20 years since he came to Tokyo under the name of Hikoju Makie.
At first, only two craftsmen and Takashi Wakamiya created lacquerware works under the name of “Hikoju Makie” and exhibited them at a department store in Tokyo. 20 years later we have become a craftsman group and introduced our works and lacquer culture all over Japan and overseas.
彦十蒔絵の変化を昆虫の環境によって変態する様に見立て「彦十蒔絵 若宮隆志展 ―変態する漆器―」と名付けました。

The transformation of us (Hikoju Makie) is like the transformation of insects (as like as butterflies), regarded as “Metamorphosis” and this “Hikoju Maki-e Takashi Wakamiya Exhibition – Metamorphosis of Lacquerware -” will be held.
