青の色は人工オパールを用いて漆を塗り込み、研ぎ出した。象の蒔絵はうずらの卵を用いて制作。棗の木地は木曽天然ヒノキを用いて塗りも含めて40g程度で仕上げた。薄くて軽い棗を実現。

The blue color was lacquered with artificial opal and sharpened. Elephant makie work is made using quail eggs. The Natsume wood was finished using Kiso natural cypress and weighed about 40g including the decoration lacquer. Realizes a thin and light Natsume.
