国宝の天目茶碗をケヤキを木地に見立漆器で制作。油滴文様は研ぎ出し蒔絵技法によって表現した。実際に持ち上げると、陶器のような見た目とは裏腹に非常に軽いことに驚く。見た目とのギャップが大きいユニークな作品。
